Words fail me …

On Thursday, Macleod had X-Rays, CT scan, and a sample { not a bone biopsy } taken from the outside of the bone but all three were inconclusive. There appears to be no other sign of a reason for his lameness. Now we will wait a week or two and likely do another X-Ray. Mya is her happy hoppy self and doing well.

  1. Geez, what an ordeal you are going through!! Guess no news is good news? Nothing is showing up on the tests and that is good!

And Mya and Macleod are oblivious to any of this stress you are feeling, and that’s a good thing! The bliss of being dog!!

Give those sseet pups a big smooch for us and lots znd lots of yummy treats!!

    Lots of hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Frankie too!

  2. I am in the same boat with Tex and it is frustrating. He’s lame on one leg, no one can figure out why, and the lesion they found is on the opposite leg. Board certified orthopedic surgeon and a physical therapist could only narrow the lameness to his lower leg.

We’ll be testing for fungus via blood work this coming week and take another xray of the leg next week if nothing else happens.

  3. Oh you guys. We’ll keep our paws and tails crossed here for MacLeod and your pack. I hope you get good news back. If the vets are still stumped you may want to have his test reports sent to Colorado State for an extra set of eyes. Their Argus Institute is a donations-based service that can help in situations like this.
